We Shall Not Be Moved Aint Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Round Buses Are a Comin and This Little Light of Mine are a few of the songs that framed the Civil Rights Movement and provided a message of hope. Join Muszikat-Shalom (Music of Peace) at the Chagrin Falls Branch Library as they discuss events of the Civil Rights Movement as well as presenting a wide range of music from the movement sharing the enriching aspects of the protest traditions of African-American freedom songs. Join us at the Chagrin Falls Branch Library for the Wednesday Night Book Discussion as we discuss *Hillbilly Elegy* by J.D.Vance. Shares the poignant story of the author's family and upbringing, describing how they moved from poverty to an upwardly mobile clan that included the author, a Yale Law School graduate, while navigating the demands of middle-class life and the collective demons of the past. Are you curious about improvisation but not sure if it’s for you? Join us for a free hour-long improv workshop. Experienced improvisers from improv troupe River Side Valley Players will guide you through simple games and exercises designed to introduce you to what improv is all about: listening, communication, creativity and fun!
