Caregiver for Senior Adults

Seniors Helping Seniors Chagrin Valley is a growing agency seeking to add compassionate caregivers to our team. We provide in-home care services to seniors who could use a helping hand with day to day tasks so that they can age gracefully at home. We pride ourselves on hiring active seniors as Caregivers for our clients- allowing for an organic connection for our caregivers and clients.

Caregiver Requirements:

• 1 year of experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 8 hours long, as needed to complete assigned tasks, including walking up and down stairs as needed.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and assist with activities of daily living
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
• Provide personal care (hygiene, mobility assistance, medication assistance)
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, outings and errands
• Other tasks may be required on a client by client basis
